Margaret Rossiter paints both in watercolour and oil in
a large range of sizes. Her subject matter includes studies of plants, landscapes,
and still-life paintings of familiar items from around her home. She has a
special interest in trees.
The different genres are united by a consistently naturalistic style, a keen
awareness of light and of detail, and a rich and joyful treatment of colour
and texture. Her paintings are an intense and passionate response to the beauty
of the natural world.
Margaret has an Open House each November in her studio on Wildwood Ave., London, Ontario. She has also participated in the London Artists’ Studio Tour for the past 5 years, and has exhibited in various regional locals. She is represented by Artworks Inc in London, Ontario and by ACA Gallery, Toronto, Ontario. Her work is also available at the Art and Sales Gallery of Museum London.
